2022: Fox started 17 matches for Racing in her sophomore season, ranking third in the NWSL in possessions won and eighth in recoveries. The defender scored her first professional goal in the club’s NWSL regular season opener at the Chicago Red Stars and notched an assist in the win at Angel City.
2021: Fox played more minutes than any other NWSL rookie (1,856 minutes), making 23 appearances and 22 starts. She earned the assist on the club’s first goal in its Challenge Cup opener against the Orlando Pride. Fox was recognized on the NWSL Team of the Month for May. En route to her Rookie of the Year finalist nomination, she led the league in interceptions (115).
Before Racing Louisville FC: Fox enjoyed a decorated career as Tar Heel, leading her team to College Cup appearances 2018 and 2019. As a four-year starter for her school, Fox paced UNC with 11 assists in 2019, earned three-straight First Team All-ACC honors and was named a Hermann Trophy semifinalist, all while overcoming two ACL tears in three years.
International: As of October 2022, Fox tallied 20 U.S. Women’s National Team caps, including 12 this year. She started three matches in the 2022 Concacaf W Championship, including the final, which the U.S. won against Canada. Fox tallied her first international assist against Nigeria in a friendly on Sept. 3.
A long-time member of the youth national teams, the defender earned her first senior team call-up in 2018, making two starts in friendlies against Portugal and Scotland before earning a spot on the 2019 SheBelievesCup roster.
