Racing Louisville FC’s away game in the NWSL Challenge Cup, presented by Secret Deodorant, against the Washington Spirit has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. ET Thursday, April 15.
The matchup has also shifted from the Spirit’s regular home, Segra Field, to Audi Field, the 20,000 capacity soccer-specific stadium also home to Major League Soccer’s D.C. United.
While this game will now be closed to the public, fans can stream via Paramount+, the newly launched premium streaming service from ViacomCBS.
A trip to Washington will mark Racing’s second-ever NWSL game following its April 10 Challenge Cup opener against the Orlando Pride at Lynn Family Stadium. Racing also hosts the North Carolina Courage on April 26 and plays Sky Blue FC away on May 2.
After four group stage games, the Challenge Cup’s East Division winner will face the West Division points leader in a May 8 final. Racing hills from the East, with counterparts in the West including the Chicago Red Stars, Houston Dash, Kansas City, OL Reign and Portland Thorns FC.
Tickets remain on sale for Racing’s home games at www.racingloufc.com/racingloufc/Challenge-Cup.
Following the Challenge Cup, the NWSL’s regular season will begin in mid-May.
