Racing Louisville FC added a trialist back to its preseason roster ahead of this week’s preseason tournament in Portland, Oregon, the club announced Sunday.
Former Pepperdine University standout Trinity Watson, who previously trained with Racing in late January, met the team in Portland, where Racing will play three games against Portland Thorns, OL Reign and the U.S. Women’s National Team U23 squad.
Watson impressed Racing’s coaches at open tryouts over the weekend of Jan. 21-22 and again during her week of training in late January, early February. The outside back played in Racing’s intrasquad scrimmage at Bellarmine University.
A repeat All-West Coast Conference performer, Watson finished her Waves career with 14 goals and 16 assists in 86 appearances over five years.
