Racing Louisville head coach Bev Yanez left Friday’s NWSL Draft in high spirits, excited about the roster her team is putting together. She detailed her thoughts on each of Racing’s four draft picks — Reilyn Turner, Emma Sears, Sam Cary and Maddie White — and the trade for Arin Wright.
“We’re very happy with the way that things went,” Yanez said. “I think we came in with very good insight into what our roster needs were and where we needed to add to our squad, and so for us walking away with the players that obviously we picked and where we added to our roster, it’s something that we are very pleased with and very excited about.”
